Using charcoal discs with gum-based incenses
To use these you will need a metal, ceramic or stone receptacle to hold them, as they get very hot. Light with a match or lighter. Wait until they start to go white before adding small pieces of incense; the discs usually maintain the required temperature for up to an hour.
